Sywell

The photographs on this page depict a development in Sywell, where the site originally comprised a dated, detached house which was demolished, leaving a site of 4.25 acres.

A detached, brick built property in the region of 8400sq ft has now been constructed in its place, incorporating a gymnasium and heated indoor swimming pool, finished both internally and externally to the highest standard of specification, as can be seen from the photographs.

Sussex Road

Originally a block of garages to council properties, this site involved demolition and clearing which we undertook ourselves, prior to developing the site for new build housing, comprising twelve 2 bedroom apartments and nine 2/3 bedroom houses.

This development of twenty one units involved using the latest technology of a Kingspan Tek frame, which enabled us to achieve an Eco Rating of 'Very Good'. We also moved a large, high voltage cable which supplied the housing estate behind and complied with stringent sound proofing regulations, due to the site being close to a railway line.

The whole development was completed in around 13 months and was located close to a local retail park. Orbit Housing Association took ownership and now have a mixture of rental and shared ownership properties on the site.

Burton Latimer

Also originally a petrol station, Seagrave undertook it's usual clearance, demolition and soil investigations of this site. Orbit Housing Association purchased this development which comprised a total of twelve units in the heart of the town centre.

The majority of the properties were 2/3 bedroom houses, but there was also a flat and two large 4 bedroom properties. All of these properties are now rented out by Orbit Housing Association.

Deeble Road

A former petrol station, this site involved extensive soil contamination tests being undertaken and excavation of soil from around the buried tanks, prior to them being removed. All clearance and demolition works were again carried out by Seagrave Developments, before we were able to build five, executive 4 bedroom properties.

Sold by Messrs Simpson & Partners, buyers were found very quickly for this development, which meant that individual changes to the high internal specifications were possible.
